New Picture

Hi i made another picture on Photoshop just recently. I found a tutorial on the internet that I liked so I tried it on a picture of Genevieve. I think it turned out pretty good so here it is.

I also changed the same picture into a sketch style.

Photoshop Tutorial...#1-4

Hello, this tutorial is going to show you how to take a regular picture and make it look like a hand drawn sketch. I will be using this picture of my sister Sophia.


1. First open a photo in photoshop by going to File>Open.

2.Copy your layer with Ctrl+J.

3. Next turn it black and white by pressing Shift+Ctrl+U.

4. Copy your layer with Ctrl+J again.

Step #5 Invert your layer using Ctrl I

Step #6 Click on the layers 'normal' box and choose Color Dodge-------->

(This will make the photo turn white.)

7. Last go to Filter>Blur>Gaussian Blur.

You can lighten and darken the image until you get exactly what you want by increasing or decreasing the radius in the little box that will pop up.

Book Review

I just finished the first three books in the Ranger's Apprentice series, all three of them were awesome. They are about an orphan named Wil who became a ranger's apprentice, fought in a war, and got taken prisoner. Unfortunately the fourth book doesn't come out till next March, But I definately reccomend this series.

A day in the life.

It's Monday already!?! Jeez, the weekend went by to fast, I want a refund LOL. I did get to go driving for about an hour yesterday, that was fun. I managed to drive around a building about five times, without hitting anything. I also got a book that I've been wanting to read for a while, it's called the Bourne Identity.

My little brother Isaac is sick he was really conjested last night. Please pray for him, and my baby sister who is finally starting to get better from her illness that has lasted a month. She is on breathing treatments, which are really helping. She was really wheezy but not anymore which we're all very thankful for.

O.k. this song is from one of my favorite bands Stellar Kart. It is called Me and Jesus this song has helped me through so many hard times, horrible moods, and various other times when I felt completly hopeless.Plus it is a beautiful song.

A day in the life.

Today was AWESOME!!! I finally got my learners permit yesterday, so this morning my dad gave me my first driving lesson! I was quite surprised, it's not as easy to drive as I thought it would be. Right after I got home from my driving lesson my brother and I went to skate station with our Grandpa like we do, and have been doing every Saturday for the past year and eight months. I LOVE skating it's right up there with playing my guitar. So we skated for about 4 hours then came home. That is a day in the life of me.
